Warrior
Appearance:
Between himself and his sister, Cindernose is the prettier one of the duo. He's not entirely sure whether to take that as a compliment or an insult either. Cindernose's light gray fur is undisturbed by any marking or blemish. There aren't any tabby stripes anywhere on him, not even on his forehead or tail which is where some cats have the faint stripes. The most that could be said is that, in the right kind of lighting, his pelt takes on a shiny, silvery kind of hue.
Cindernose isn't exactly the smallest warrior in his den, but he's far from being the biggest. Like all Skyclanners, his strength is found in his hind legs for jumping. That's about all the muscle he has on him though. He's made for speed and agility, not strength and endurance. His ears are a little big for his head, which his sister STILL teases him about, but he's learned to use them to his advantage. His nose is the same dark shade of gray as his paw pads, and his eyes are a pretty light gray color.

Personality:
Virtually nothing ever ruffles Cindernose's fur. He isn't the type to raise his voice when he's upset. Instead, he gets quiet. The quieter he is, the angrier. If you ever see him being totally silent, the best way to keep your ears unshredded is to walk away with your ears back and your tail between your legs. Some cats take his calmness as being emotionless, but that's not true. He finds humor and he feels sorrow just like everyone else. He just doesn't show it as often.
Once he makes a decision, he sticks to it. He made a vow long ago to live his life without regrets, and that's what he's going to do. It's almost impossible to talk him out of a decision he's made, because then how will he know what would have happened if he doesn't do it? It's not that Cindernose has no concept of the word 'dangerous', because trust me, he does! He just doesn't want to look back on things and wonder, 'what if?'
If it wasn't for his strategic brain, Cindernose has no doubt he and his sister would have died early into their apprentice hoods. He always has a back up plan, and a back up plan for his back up plan. It can get slightly annoying, even to himself, but it's saved a couple of lives in the past so he's not complaining about it.
Negative: Explosive, Secretive, Possessive
Since he bottles up his anger instead of letting it out, a lot of negative emotions have piled up over time. There are times, however few they are, where even the smallest of things can set him off. Someone being rude, a mistake on a hunting patrol, or even just being woken up way too early. It doesn't happen often, but when it does, the safest place for your ears is somewhere far away.
Cindernose hates talking about himself. If it's small things like what he did that day or what his favorite prey is, he has no problems telling you. But he doesn't like letting other cats in on things that actually matter. Politics within the Clan? Nope. Gossip involving that one she-cat and the loner that's been hanging around the border? Nah ah, move on. He has friends, most definitely; he's not anti-social or a hermit. But none of them could actually tell you what he thinks.
He's possessive of things he considers his. Friends and family, even more so. Timbertail is his sister, Maybelle is his mother, and Cragpaw and Snowpaw are his kits. Okay, foster kits, but still. Anyone who tries telling Cindernose otherwise is fighting a losing fight. If you want to befriend any of them, you have to pass Cindernose's test to make sure you're good enough. And if not, he's not letting you anywhere near them.

History:
Both Maybelle and Banditstorm started out as daylight warriors. Maybelle wasn't much of a fighter, but she could stalk a sparrow so silently that she could follow it from one edge of their territory to the other without once being detected. Banditstorm, on the other paw, found his paws too big and clumsy to be a very good hunter. But when in battle? The tom seemed like a dancer, first moving this way and that way with such grace that you couldn't help but be hypnotized by it.
At first, it started out as friendship and camaraderie. There was still some prejudice against the 'kitty-warriors' from the full time Clan cats. The two lived near each other in twolegplace and spent more time together than any other Clanmate. They eventually fell in love, but they weren't planning on kits. Any kits that may have been born would probably have been taken away by Maybelle's two-legs.
So when Maybelle found herself pregnant, both were understandably uneasy. Oh, they were happy as well! Who wouldn't want kits with the cat they love? But they were torn between what to do. Raise the kits as kittypets or warriors? Maybelle talked to both her kittypet friends and her Clan friends. The kittypets said 'Wild life would be too dangerous to raise them.' while warriors said 'they'd be freer and happier here than cooped up with twolegs. Raise them here!'
Close to her due date, her twolegs made the decision for her. Maybelle had noticed things disappearing and was honestly confused. It wasn't long before she realized they were going to move. She couldn't let that happen. In the middle of the night, she fled her home with the help of some regular kittypet friends. They'd started yowling and pretending to mock fight, which made her twolegs leave the house and leave the door open.
Maybelle didn't get too far from her former house when Banditstorm appeared, worried that she might need his help. She did, just not in the way he thought. Halfway to the camp, Maybelle went into labor from all the movement and running. Banditstorm hid her in a well-protected bush and went off to find the medicine cat.
By the time he returned, Maybelle had already gone through the natural birth and was nursing two kittens, a solid gray tom and a brown tabby she-kit. The medicine cat looked Maybelle over, but there weren't any problems or complications. Maybelle would have to stay in the bush until the kits were strong enough to travel, but that was okay with her. She loved her kits from the start.
The new parents wanted to become full-time warriors, and so gave their kits traditional warrior names. The tom was named Cinderkit for his coat, and his sister became Timberkit.
The very first thing Cinderkit did when he was brought to camp was ask which dens belong to which rank, where all the exits and entrances were, forming a mental map of the camp. The very first thing Timberkit did was pick a fight with an apprentice who was 'looking at her funny'. Yeah, you can see who the problem kit was.
One of the older kits thought it was hilarious. She was a pretty ginger spotted tabby, a moon older than them, and introduced herself as Cherrykit. She became good friends with Timberkit, and, by extension, Cinderkit. The three quickly became known fondly as 'the unholy terrors' of the Clan.
Cherrykit was the ring leader. She was the one who came up with the games and mischief while Cinderkit was the one with the strategy and plans. Timberkit was the one who pulled it off, since she was the most willing to risk being caught and in trouble. While trouble usually always did follow, they were never caught before
Blah blah blah, Cinderkit and Timberkit are born and become friends with Cherrykit, a she-kit a moon older than them. Close to becoming apprentices, Cinderkit develops a crush.
Cinderpaw gets cocky as an apprentice because his plans are often flawless and go without a hitch. Close to being warriors, Cherrypaw and Timberpaw and Cinderpaw are hunting near where the rats are when they're attacked. Cinderpaw has them climb trees to escape and plans on leaping through the branches until they're safe. But before getting to safety, the tree limb Cherrypaw's on breaks and she falls into the very center of the rat crowd.
The rats leave her to within an inch of her life. Cinderpaw begs her to hold on and tells her that he loves her, hoping to maybe give her fighting strength. Cherrypaw looks at him in surprise and is about to respond, "I..., when she dies. Cinderpaw is left wondering what she was going to say and what they could have had. He learns that not all of his plans are going to work and makes a vow to live without regrets, because it's what Cherrypaw would have wanted.
Warrior
Cindernose and Timbertail sit warrior vigil. The hole where Cherrypaw should have been gapes.
