It is currently early newleaf. The sun is high, bright, and hot for this new season. With greenleaf fast approaching, the weather feels much warmer than normal. This early warmth and heat has brought a drought for the Clan cats. Prey is starting to become scarce, especially for RiverClan. The lake is also starting to dry up, the banks receding further away from the Clan territories.
Leader: Bramblestar Deputies: Squirrelflight, Brackenfur Medicine cat: Jayfeather, Ravenpaw
Bramblestar, a large dark brown tabby tom with amber eyes, is currently the leader of ThunderClan. His mate, Squirrelflight, the dark ginger she-cat, is also his deputy, and their nephew, Jayfeather, the blind gray tabby tom, is the medicine cat. As soon as Bramblestar is made leader, Jayfeather takes on an apprentice by the name of Ravenpaw, a black she-cat with an unstoppable stream of jokes. Only a couple of seasons into her time as deputy, Squirrelflight dies in birth, along with all of the kits. Some say this was a fitting end for her, defying the warrior code as she did. Bramblestar furiously demands silence from such speakers and appoints the senior warrior, Brackenfur, a golden-brown tabby tom, as deputy. Bramblestar, growing careless and reckless, is asked to retire by his deputy, who sees his behavior as detrimental to the Clan. Bramblestar does so. (Bramblestar has a relatively short reign.)
Leader: Brackenstar Deputy: Stoatfur Medicine cats: Jayfeather, Ravencry, Magpiepaw
Brackenstar is currently the leader of ThunderClan. His deputy is Stoatfur, a young ginger tabby she-cat, because he wants the next leader to be a young enough cat to carry ThunderClan through many seasons. Their medicine cat is still Jayfeather, who soon retires and is replaced by his apprentice, Ravencry, who only just recently received her full name. She quickly takes on an apprentice, Magpiepaw, a black-and-white tom. Ravencry makes sure to comment on the bird theme. And although the tunnels have been exceedingly useful in battle and were sacred to another set of cats long ago, Brackenstar does his best to have his Clan forget about them, for he believed their danger surpassed their value. Brackenstar dies of old age, his entirety of lives unable to halt the passage of time. (Brackenstar has a relatively short reign.)
Leader: Stoatstar Deputies: Embersnow, Seedwhisker, Slatestorm Medicine cats: Ravencry, Magpiepaw
Stoatstar is currently the leader of ThunderClan. Her deputy is Embersnow, a cunning dark gray tabby tom with a pale underbelly and deep blue eyes, undeniably handsome yet cruel in his own way. Their medicine cat is still Ravencry, and her apprentice is Magpiepaw. Embersnow always had a preference for RiverClan, with reasons unknown to his Clan, and he pushed for Stoatstar to enter the conflict between RiverClan and WindClan on RiverClan's side. She refused to get involved at all, stating that clearly it was none of their business and she did not want such unnecessary bloodshed, and he, dark and wrathful, convinces a small group of warriors to accompany him to attack WindClan's camp. They are caught by a large WindClan patrol, bigger than usual because of the conflict, and the ThunderClan cats, vastly outnumbered, lose. Embersnow refuses to return to the camp, stating out of pride that he could not do so in such shame, and he dies from his wounds, having reached the stream of ThunderClan's territories; his beloved forest was just before his eyes as he died. Stoatstar appoints Seedwhisker, a very pale ginger she-cat and senior warrior. Magpiepaw becomes Magpienose, a full joint medicine cat. Ravencry dies soon after, so Magpienose takes over. Seedwhisker retires due to old age, for she knows she can no longer complete her job in the way that ThunderClan would need her to. Stoatstar appoints Slatestorm, a serious long-furred blue-gray tom. Stoatstar dies when an underground section of the Abandoned Twoleg Nest collapses on her while she was leading an exploration expedition, unable to keep herself from going first in. (Stoatstar has a long reign.)
Leader: Slatestar Deputies: Snowswan, Graytail Medicine cat: Magpienose, Robinpaw
Slatestar is currently the leader of ThunderClan. He takes over and immediately declares the Abandoned Twoleg Nest off limits. Slatestar's deputy is Snowswan, a beautiful silver tabby she-cat with blue eyes. Their medicine cat is still Magpienose. Slatestar is not very popular within his Clan, for he is extremely strict, but he tries to keep the peace with all other Clans and remain out of dangerous situations. He values the warrior code above and beyond all other things, though he was making something of an exception for his deputy. Under his leadership, some cats sneak out and steal from WindClan, but he refuses to accept responsibility for this and claims ignorance. Within the Clan, however, the punishment is severe. Slatestar demotes Snowswan from the position of deputy, for he finds that she and a ShadowClan cat were in an illicit relationship -- when she had been suggesting to him that they could have been together -- and appoints Graytail, a lanky gray she-cat. Magpienose takes on an apprentice, a ten-moon-old dark gray tabby tom with a white chest, Robinpaw, a rather remarkable ingénue. Slatestar dies, losing several of his lives, including his final one, during an outbreak of greencough that swept through the Clan. (Slatestar has a relatively long reign.)
Leader: Graystar Deputy: Snowswan Medicine cats: Magpienose, Robinpaw, Darkpaw
Graystar is currently the leader of ThunderClan. When she becomes the leader, she reappoints Snowswan as deputy, finding the she-cat to be worthy of the position of deputy, for she was extremely charismatic and not lacking in cleverness. Their medicine cat is still Magpienose, but he dies not so soon later and Robinpaw, who never gained his full name, becomes medicine cat. Robinpaw takes on Darkpaw, a black tom with green eyes, as an apprentice. After several moons, Darkstorm, one of the kindest cats ThunderClan has known in a very long time, gains his full name. Tensions rise with WindClan, and soon what seems to be war, begun by the WindClan deputy, Boarnose, threatens to break out. Froststar, however, the new leader, apologizes for the attacks and battles. Graystar was unwilling to enter a war for many reasons, not the least of which being that ThunderClan had practically been decimated by illness. Her time as leader is fairly uneventful; she is neither intrepid in her leadership nor strict and ever-watchful, as her predecessor was, although she tends to be more carefree and fun-loving than many other cats her age. Graystar loses her final life falling off the Sky Oak. (Graystar reigns for about 10 moons.)
Leader: Snowstar Deputy: Lichenpelt Medicine cats: Robinpaw, Darkstorm, Frostpaw
Snowstar is currently the leader of ThunderClan. She appoints Lichenpelt, a small, stocky light brown tabby tom with bright green eyes, as deputy. Their medicine cat is still Robinpaw and his apprentice is Darkstorm. As one of her first orders as a leader, Snowstar reopens the Abandoned Twoleg Nest, blaming its lack of access for the plague that swept through ThunderClan some seasons before at the end of Slatestar's reign. Robinpaw dies and Darkstorm takes his place. Frostpaw, a white she-cat with deep green eyes from ShadowClan, joins ThunderClan, for Snowstar could not bring herself to turn away a forlorn cat, especially a young one from ShadowClan, a Clan that was notoriously hard on its young at the time. She soon becomes Darkstorm's apprentice. Blizzardpaw’s mother, Moonfrost, attacked one of ThunderClan’s own, and so Snowstar banished her. Moonfrost attacked two seasons after Blizzardshard became a warrior with a group of rogues, but they were not enough to be a problem for ThunderClan. Moonfrost was able to bring Brackenfang, her mate and Blizzardshard’s father, however, and lead an attack some moons later with a much larger group of rogues who actually posed a threat to ThunderClan and nearly equaled them in numbers. During this battle, in which Moonfrost and Brackenfang both are killed, Snowstar disappears. Lichenpelt claims to have seen her chasing after a few cats, and the Clan searches for her, but finds nothing. They decide that she must have died, and that they cannot continue without a leader, especially when they might be attacked again. Lichenpelt and Darkstorm go together to the Moonpool, and Lichenpelt returns calling himself Lichenstar. (Snowstar reigns for about 28 moons)
Leader: Lichenstar Deputies: Hollowstripe, Lionfrost Medicine cats: Darkstorm, Frostbite
Lichenstar is currently the leader of ThunderClan. He appoints a senior warrior, Hollowstripe, a massive silver tabby tom with amber eyes, to be deputy. Their medicine cat is still Darkstorm and his apprentice, Frostpaw. Lichenstar is a tentative, frightened leader who often depends on his deputies and senior warriors to help him lead, and is loath to make any decisions that have any great effect. Hollowstripe, suffering from chronic illness and not helped by old age, retires. Lionfrost, a long-furred golden-brown tabby tom with blue-green eyes, is appointed deputy. Darkstorm dies of old age. Frostbite, who only just received her full name, becomes sole medicine cat. Lichenstar, a tom with a relatively brief and unremarkable reign, dies of greencough. Lionfrost thus takes his place as leader. What the Clan does not know is that Snowstar survived and fled the Clan for reasons of her own, living by herself on the edges of the territories. Lichenstar knew of this and helped her, for they were great friends, and told Lionstar that he did not have all of his nine lives – he was an illegitimate leader. If Lionfrost sought his lives, he needed to speak with Snowstar. Lionfrost went to see Snowstar, and led her into the tunnels beneath the territories, of which he knows but never speaks, and watched her drown. She is not present when he receives his nine lives. (Lichenstar reigned for about 12 moons.)
Leader: Lionstar Deputies: Spottedclaw, Elkshadow Medicine cat: Frostbite
Lionstar is currently the leader of ThunderClan. He appoints Spottedclaw, a fierce tortoiseshell she-cat and senior warrior, as deputy. Their medicine cat is still Frostbite. Spottedclaw dies barely a moon into Lionstar's leadership, with her hidden wounds having been infected when she refused to be examined by the medicine cat after a series of miscellaneous injuries. Lionstar thus appoints Elkshadow, the arrogant big gray tabby tom. (Lionstar has reigned for about 4 moons.)

Onestar, a mottled-brown tom, is currently the leader of WindClan. His deputy is Ashfoot, a gray she-cat. Their medicine cat at this time is Kestrelflight. Closer to the end of Onestar's reign, Kestrelflight gets the apprentice named Tulippaw, a small white she-cat. Things go by rather uneventful until Ashfoot moves into the elder's den due to her age; Onestar appoints Crowfeather, a dark gray tom, as the new deputy to take her place, who is also Ashfoot's son. Many moons pass with these three ruling WindClan. Crowfeather is killed by a dog running loose out in the moor, and a young brown tabby warrior named Sparrowclaw takes the deputy position. Tulippaw receives her full name of Tulipfur. That leaf-bare, Onestar loses his last life to the deadly sickness feared by all of the Clans: greencough. Sparrowclaw takes his place as the leader. (Onestar had a relatively long reign.)
Leader: Sparrowstar Deputies: Moonfang, Darkheart Medicine Cats: Kestrelflight, Tulipfur, Brushpaw
Sparrowstar is currently the leader of WindClan. His deputy is Moonfang, a silver tabby she-cat. Their medicine cat is still Kestrelflight and his apprentice is Tulipfur. Many more moons past by, until Kestrelflight mysteriously disappears one day. No one knows what happened to him, but they do find his scent leading out of the WindClan camp, but it stops suddenly. Tulipfur takes his place as the medicine cat. Soon after she becomes a full medicine cat of WindClan, she receives an apprentice by the name of Brushpaw, a brown-and-white tabby tom. Seasons go by with these cats leading WindClan. Tulipfur dies young, accidentally killed in battle with RiverClan. This makes WindClan incredibly angry, even though her death is an accident. Brushpaw, who never received his full medicine cat name, takes her place. He gives himself the name Brushtail, saying that it was what Tulipfur would have named him due to his long, poofy tail. War breaks out between RiverClan and WindClan, Sparrowstar losing many lives along with the lives of many other cats. Moonfang was one of those that died. A black she-cat with green eyes by the name of Darkheart takes Moonfang's place. The battles get more viscous when RiverClan's new leader, Nightstar, takes control of the Clan. At the end of this war, WindClan loses to RiverClan. Sparrowstar is killed in the final battle, a leader for a much shorter time than most. Darkheart takes his place as the leader. (Sparrowstar has a very short reign.)
Leader: Darkstar Deputies: Flareface, Frostwing Medicine Cats: Brushtail, Brownpaw
Darkstar is currently the leader of WindClan. Her deputy is Flareface, an orange tabby tom with a burned face. Their medicine cat is still Brushtail. A couple moons into Darkstar's leadership, Brushtail receives the apprentice of Brownpaw, a brown tabby tom. There are still tensions between RiverClan and WindClan. WindClan no longer trusts RiverClan because Sparrowstar, Moonfang, and Tulipfur were all killed in battles against them, along with a lot of warriors and apprentices. Though there is more trouble, and not just with the water-lovers. ThunderClan has been causing many problems. A WindClan patrol witnessed a ThunderClan warrior hunting on the moorland, but ThunderClan won't confess to their crime. WindClan, not eager to fight in another war, go dormant for awhile. Though they are secretly seething with anger. They only trust themselves, and from that moment, they decided to stay out of Clan affair and have a neutral stance with everything, as to not upset and cause another war, one that would deplete their numbers again. Brushtail decides to leave the Clan, claiming that he would rather be a kittypet, which surprises the whole Clan because he had been so loyal and dedicated to it throughout his life. His apprentice, who just received his full name of Brownwhisker, takes his place as the medicine cat. There are many disagreements between the other three Clans, but WindClan always stays neutral. Sometimes they're neutrality makes another Clan step down from their argument and sometimes it doesn't. While the other Clans are angry with each other, WindClan is always content in their little shell they've made. Many, many seasons pass until Flareface is too old to continue being the deputy. Refusing to participate in any Clan disagreements paid off with little deaths in the Clan. Frostwing, a white tom with amber eyes,is made the deputy of WindClan to take Flareface's place. Many more moons pass. Darkstar is killed by a badger wandering around in WindClan territory- she loses her last life to it. Frostwing takes her place as the leader. (Darkstar has a long reign.)
Froststar is currently the leader of WindClan. His deputy is Boarnose, a brown tom. Their medicine cat is still Brownwhisker and his apprentice is Streampaw, a silver-and-white tabby she-cat. Froststar leads WindClan just like Darkstar did, making WindClan stay on neutral grounds as to stay out of most of the fighting. They decided they like staying this way, since it makes less cats die in battle. Boarnose, however, goes behind Froststar's back and orders an attack on ThunderClan the next day after a Gathering because ThunderClan had called WindClan cowards after ShadowClan had been arguing with RiverClan and they refused to get involved. Despite it being a surprise attack, the WindClan warriors lead into the attack lose. Boarnose is killed in that battle, but Froststar doesn't declare war, as Boarnose went against his orders pointedly. He apologizes to ThunderClan for his former deputy's behavior, hoping that ThunderClan doesn't have any hard feelings for them due to their wounded. WindClan is lucky, and the ThunderClan leader Graystar accepts their apology. Stoneshine, a large gray tom, takes Boarnose's place as deputy. Streampaw is killed by a rogue wandering around in WindClan territory, who supposedly came from the mountains in the east. Goldenblossom, a ginger-and-white she-cat, her sister who was already a warrior but wanted to become a medicine cat, takes her place. Froststar, Stoneshine, and Brownwhisker lead WindClan for a very long time. WindClan still remains neutral in most Clan affairs. A couple moons after becoming the medicine cat apprentice, Goldenblossom goes too close to the Horseplace and is accidentally trampled by a horse. Many cats believe that somehow the medicine cat position is cursed and are all too afraid to step up and be Brownwhisker's apprentice after two of his died in such a short amount of time. Some are even afraid of the kind Brownwhisker himself. Seasons pass- both Brownwhisker and Stoneshine become frail compared to Froststar, who still looks young due to having nine lives. Despite being old, both keep their positions because there is no cat good enough to fit into their paws. More seasons pass uneventfully. Stoneshine is killed by a badger and Tigerjaw, an orange tabby tom with yellow-green eyes, takes his place as deputy. Not long after that, Froststar is killed by Charredpelt, Tigerjaw's brother. Charredpelt is sent into exile and Tigerjaw becomes WindClan's leader, not telling the rest of the Clan what really happened to Froststar, who believe he vanished mysteriously. (Froststar reigned for about 55 moons.)
Leader: Tigerstar Deputy: Snowinglight Medicine Cats: Brownwhisker, -
Tigerstar is currently the leader of WindClan. His deputy is Snowinglight, a white she-cat, formerly a kittypet. Their medicine cat is still Brownwhisker, who is growing old. Tigerstar still hasn't told WindClan what happened to Froststar and why Charredpelt was exiled, but he did tell his deputy. Just like when WindClan was under Darkstar's and Froststar's rule, the Clan remains neutral. This has become normal for WindClan, as it is the only thing they all remember. (Tigerstar has reigned for 3 moons.)

Leader: Mistystar Deputies: Reedwhisker, Rushtail Medicine Cats: Mothwing, Willowshine
Mistystar, a blue gray she-cat, is currently the leader of RiverClan. Her deputy is Reedwhisker, a black tom. The medicine cat of RiverClan at the time is Mothwing, a dappled golden she-cat, and her apprentice Willowshine, a grey tabby she-cat. Mistystar leads RiverClan peacefully and the Clan is at easy with the others. Her deputy Reedwhisker dies of an unknown disease, and Mistystar appoints Rushtail as her new deputy. Many seasons pass under Mistystar's leadership. Soon, RiverClan is dealing with trouble with the Twolegs' dogs in the Twoleg place invading their territory. Mistystar sends warriors to the edge of their territory to deal with the problem, along with her friend and medicine cat Mothwing. During the battle with the dogs, Rushtail is injured on the Thunderpath. Mothwing runs to try to save him and loses her life to a monster on the path. Troutstream dies in the battle, followed by Mintfur of infection. Distraught at the death of her friend and warriors, Mistystar loses her last life to greencough. (Mistystar had a relatively long reign.)
Leader: Rushstar Deputies: Mossyfoot, Morningpelt, Nightclaw Medicine Cats: Willowshine, Birchpaw
Rushstar, a light brown tabby tom, is currently leader of RiverClan. His deputy is Mossyfoot, a brown and white she-cat. The medicine cat during his leadership is still Willowshine, along with her apprentice Birchpaw, a small white tom. RiverClan is still dealing with the troubles from the dogs and many lives are lost, include some of Rushstar's. Moons pass and the trouble with the dogs is brought to a close after a final battle in which Mossyfoot dies, though the Clan is wounded from the deaths of their lost warriors. Rushstar appoints the new deputy to be Morningpelt, a ginger and white she-cat. Also during Rushstar's leadership, many fights with WindClan break out as well. Rushstar loses a life in one of the battles against WindClan. When Morningpelt dies in battle with the rival Clan, Nightclaw, a large black tom, is appointed as the new deputy. However Rushstar's leadership is short lived. An ambitious Nightclaw attempts to overpower Rushstar because he does not agree with Rushstar's decisions for the Clan and how he is dealing with WindClan. Nightclaw viciously murders Rushstar, causing the leader to lose the last of his two remaining lives. (Rushstar had a relatively short reign.)
Leader: Nightstar Deputies: Snakebite, Buzzardheart Medicine Cats: Willowshine, Birchsplash
Nightstar, a large black tom, is currently leader of RiverClan. His deputy is Snakebite, a pale orange tabby tom with a white face and paws. Willowshine and her apprentice Birchsplash are the medicine cats of RIverClan. Nightstar is ambitious and ruly, and his leadership brings many more hardships and deaths to the Clan. War continues to break out among WindClan along with minor border scrimmages with ShadowClan. Many seasons pass under Nightstar's leadership and RiverClan is seen as harsh and cruel during this time. Snakebite dies after drowning in a swollen river, attempting to save Volekit, Branchkit, and Maplekit who wandered off from the nursery. Only Volekit and Maplekit survive. Nightstar appoints the new RiverClan deputy to be Buzzardheart. Moons later, an old and frail Willowshine attempts to go against Nightstar's ways by encouraging the warriors of RiverClan to do the same. Enraged by this, Nightstar murders his own medicine cat (using the excuse of the fox attack for her death) and Birchsplash, a white tom, is appointed as the new medicine cat of RiverClan. Shortly after this murder, a RiverClan warrior catches a ShadowClan warrior stealing prey from RiverClan and Nightstar launches an attack against the rival Clan upon hearing this news. Buzzardheart dies during this battle along with an apprentice named Volepaw. StarClan is furious with Nightstar for murdering Willowshine, Rushstar, and many others from RiverClan and the other three Clans alike. He is visited by the starry cats who revoke the lives given to him and found dead by Birchsplash the following morning. Having not chosen a deputy before moonhigh the previous night, RiverClan waits for a sign from StarClan about who will follow Nightstar's pawsteps. Birchsplash receives a sign in the form of various bird feathers in his herb storages and comes to the conclusion that StarClan believe Featherpool should lead RiverClan. (Nightstar had a relatively short reign.)
Featherstar, a small grey and white she-cat, is currently leader of RiverClan. Her deputy is Blindeye, a half-blind brown tabby senior warrior. Their medicine cat is still Birchsplash. Her choice for Bilndeye as her deputy is due to her young age as she felt she needed the old warrior's guidance to help her change the direction her Clan was taking after Nightstar. Nervous about this new sudden leadership, Featherstar is shy, withdrawn, and very uncertain of herself. Mistystar visits her in her dreams and with the help of Blindeye and Mistystar, Featherstar goes confidence in herself and her ability of lead her Clan to greatness and out of the night's shadows. Blindeye becomes too old and retires his position as deputy, moving to the elder's den. Featherstar choices her new deputy to be young Voletooth, a mottled brown and black tom, having seen courage and great potential in the new warrior. Featherstar leads her Clan peacefully, much like Mistystar had. She tried her best to remain on good terms with ShadowClan and WindClan after the many battles between them. Growing old, Birchsplash soon finds Maplefall, a red-orange she-cat, to have an interest in becoming a medicine cat and the young warrior becomes his apprentice soon after. When Birchsplash dies of old age, Maplefall becomes the sole medicine cat all too soon. Featherstar remains leader of RiverClan for many seasons. Many look up to the she-cat as a great leader, perfect for RiverClan. Although Maplefall is now a medicine cat, she finds herself falling in love with a ThunderClan warrior she met at a Gathering. She keeps this a secret, remaining loyal to her Clan and training her apprentice Snowpaw. However once Snowfire receives her "warrior" name, officially becoming a full medicine cat, Maplefall leaves RiverClan and joins ThunderClan to be with her mate. Snowfire, an orange and white she-cat, is now the medicine cat of RiverClan. When Voletooth loses his life due to a bad fox bite, Featherstar appoints the new deputy to be Ivyclaw, a long legged white she-cat. Ivyclaw is not the deputy long, as she soon dies in a battle against ShadowClan. Featherstar then appoints young Coyotesong, a russet red she-cat, as her deputy. After Featherstar loses her last life because of an injury, Coyotesong, who also has a lover in ThunderClan, remains loyal to RiverClan and gives her kits to Honeybird to mother so she can lead her Clan. (Featherstar reigned for about 60 moons.)
Leader: Coyotestar Deputies: Shellfrost, - Medicine Cats: Snowfire
Coyotestar, a russet red she-cat, is currently leader of RiverClan. Her deputy is Shellfrost, a light brown tabby tom. Their medicine cat is Snowfire, who currently has no apprentice. After receiving her nine lives and name, RiverClan has been at peace despite the beginnings of a drought in early newleaf. With this drought, RiverClan is affected most due to catching much of their fresh-kill in the water. (Coyotestar has reigned for about half a moon.)

Leader: Blackstar Deputies: Russetfur, Rowanclaw Medicine cats: Littlecloud, Softpaw
Blackstar, a white tom with black paws, is currently the leader of ShadowClan. His deputy is Rowanclaw, a ginger tom. Their medicine cat at the time is Littlecloud, a small brown tabby tom. Blackstar stirs up no trouble, surprisingly, with the Clans. For the rest of his life, ShadowClan is lead peacefully. At this time, all four Clans are content with each other. A new medicine cat apprentice is taken on, who is named Softpaw, a gray-and-white she-cat. Shortly after Softpaw is given her full medicine cat name as Softpuddle, Littlecloud retires from his position due to his age. Many seasons pass with these three ruling ShadowClan. Twolegs and their dogs begin to take over the edge of ShadowClan and RiverClan territory. Many warriors and apprentices are killed by these dogs. Blackstar loses his last life to a Twoleg monster on the Thunderpath. Rowanclaw takes his place as the leader. (Blackstar had a relatively long reign.)
Leader: Rowanstar Deputy: Tigerheart Medicine Cats: Softpuddle, Frogjump
Rowanstar is currently the leader of ShadowClan. His deputy is Tigerheart, a brown tabby tom. Their medicine cat is still Softpuddle. After a few moons, and leaf-bare hits, the Twolegs and their dogs are no longer a problem to ShadowClan and RiverClan. When they leave, the Clan thrives. While RiverClan and WindClan break out in war, ShadowClan and ThunderClan look on with curious eyes. Both Clans are still content, maybe even a little happy, to see the drama unfolding before them. A couple seasons pass. The battles between RiverClan and WindClan get vicious when RiverClan's new leader, Nightstar, steps into power. ShadowClan is unlucky, along with WindClan, because Nightstar declares war on them. They're both constantly locked in battle. Though as quickly a they begin, they soon end. Around this same time, Softpuddle gets an apprentice by the name of Frogjump, a black-and-white tom who was already an older warrior but was injured and could no longer carry on with warrior duties. He showed great promise, however, and learned very quickly. The next leaf-bare, Rowanstar and Tigerheart are out hunting when they notice they've strayed out onto the lake. With the lake frozen and covered with snow, they didn't notice until it was too late. The ice breaks, plunging both cats into it's freezing depths. Both cats are drowned to death, Rowanstar dying and waking up just to die again. When they don't return that night, the Clan send a patrol to find them. They see the broken ice with their scent clinging to the area around it, and realize that they both fell through the ice. In the morning, Softpuddle receives a sign from StarClan. It comes in the form of leaves blowing out in front of her, covering in frost, making the early dawn sun glint off of them. This makes her conclude that Morningleaf, a calico she-cat (also the daughter of Tigerheart and Dovewing), was chosen to be the next leader of ShadowClan. (Rowanstar had a relatively long reign.)
Leader: Morningstar Deputies: Jaggedfang, Wolfberry, Cherrysong Medicine Cats: Softpuddle, Frogjump
Morningstar is currently the leader of ShadowClan. Her deputy is Jaggedfang, a gray-flecked tom, who is also her brother. Their medicine cat is still Softpuddle, and her apprentice is Frogjump. Morningstar is incredibly dedicated to the warrior code and is very persuasive, making her the perfect leader. She dislikes her heritage, claiming that her now deceased parents shouldn't have met in private, even if she wouldn't have been born. She leads ShadowClan into greatness, and is sometimes referred to as one of the best leaders ever to be born in the Clans. Though her one flaw is being obsessed with the warrior code, and this soon consumes her being. She forces her Clanmates to follow it to a tee, punishing those severely if they don't. Her brother had a small crush on a she-cat from RiverClan, and when ShadowClan got into a small skirmish with them, word got out because they were both in that battle and refused to hurt each other. Morningstar, furious, demoted her brother from the deputy position. He then left to join RiverClan. Morningstar's new deputy was named Wolfberry, an older gray tabby she-cat. A few moons later, Softpuddle was attacked and killed by a badger while out collecting herbs. Frogjump takes her place as the ShadowClan medicine cat. A couple moons later, the medicine cat, who is growing old, receives the apprentice of Rabbitpaw, a brown tabby tom with amber eyes. That leaf-bare, Wolfberry died of greencough. Frogjump did the best he could to try to cure their deputy, but it was to late for Wolfberry. Morningstar then appointed Cherrysong, and a ginger-and-white she-cat, to take her place. Not too long after that, Morningstar finds ThunderClan scent in their territory. Furious, she orders an attack on them. They don't even reach the camp- a patrol spots them, and when reinforcements come, ShadowClan is chased back into their own territory. Morningstar is angry with the Clans because she believes that they aren't as dedicated to the warrior code as they should be. Though by this time, Morningstar is on her last life. She only tells her deputy this, but refuses to let the rest of the Clan know that she is weaker. Frogjump retires, leaving Rabbitfoot as the sole medicine cat of ShadowClan. Not so soon later, Morningstar's last life is taken by an infected bite that refused to heal. Cherrysong takes her place as leader. (Morningstar reigned for about 75 moons.)
Leader: Cherrystar Deputies: Graypelt, Darkfang Medicine Cat: Rabbitfoot
Cherrystar is currently the leader of ShadowClan. Her deputy is Graypelt, an older light gray tabby tom. Their medicine cat is still Rabbitfoot. Cherrystar has begun to rebuild ShadowClan back to it's former glory. A couple moons after she appointed Graypelt as the deputy, the whole Clan noticed his slowing down. He was no longer the young cat he used to be, and so he asked if he could retire. After that, Cherrystar appointed Darkfang, a black tom with a white chest, to be the new deputy. Things went by rather uneventful after that- for once, all four Clans were at peace. (Cherrystar has reigned for about 8 moons.)

Leader: Leafstar Deputies: Sharpclaw, Rockshade, Tinycloud Medicine Cats: Echosong, Frecklepaw
Leafstar, a brown tabby she-cat, is currently the leader of SkyClan. Her deputy is Sharpclaw, a dark ginger tom. Their medicine cat is Echosong, a silver tabby she-cat, and her apprentice is Frecklepaw, a mottled light brown she-cat. After Firestar left SkyClan to fend for themselves, the cats' lives were next to perfect. They had defeated the rats and prey was plentiful, even in leaf-bare. Despite this, Leafstar's reign lasts shorter than most leaders. She was a dedicated, loyal leader, often putting herself at risks to save others. She lost many lives due to greencough that struck the Clan suddenly, and after that event, she just wasn't the same anymore. After this bout of sickness, Frecklepaw proves herself to be a full medicine cat of SkyClan and receives the name of Frecklewish. Soon after, Sharpclaw retires due to an injury when he fell from a rock high up the cliff. The usually cheerful leader was unmotivated and too depressed to lead her Clan properly, so her new deputy, Rockshade, a black tom, took charge. Kind, proud, but a little ambitious, Rockshade lead the Clan well during Leafstar's mental absense. While out collecting herbs, Echosong is killed by a badger while her back is turned. Rockshade sends out warriors to track it down and make sure it left the territory, and Leafstar surprisingly volunteers to go with them. Leaving Frecklewish in charge of the remaining cats, leader, deputy, and a pawful of warriors leave to hunt the badger down. They meet up with it, but it doesn't go down without a fight. While trying to chase it away, Rockshade is also killed. When they got back, the distraught Leafstar appoints Tinycloud, a small white she-cat, to take her brother's place as deputy. Tinycloud wasn't deputy for very long because Leafstar finally decides to give up her leadership to a better fit cat. (Leafstar had a relatively short reign.)
Leader: Tinystar Deputies: Bouncefire, Creampelt, Lynxsnow Medicine Cats: Frecklewish, Sharppaw
Tinystar is currently the leader of SkyClan. Her deputy is Bouncefire, a ginger tom, also her brother. Their medicine cat is still Frecklewish. Due to Leafstar not losing her last life before Tinystar got hers, she was only granted eight instead of nine. Many cats saw this as a bad sign and refused to accept her as their leader. But after a couple moons, Tinystar proved herself to be a good leader, just as good as Leafstar was before her illness. Everyone loved her in the Clan- it proved that Tinystar was fit for the position, despite her quiet nature. Later in her leadership, the rats started to become troublesome again. Even though they had been badly beaten with the help of Firestar, it proved that they were going to be a permanent problem. Tinystar tried to ignore the threat of the rats, but when Bouncefire and his patrol was out hunting and attacked them, it was impossible to ignore when all cats but one warrior named Creampelt, a cream tom, were killed. Once he was fully recovered from his injuries, Tinystar appointed Creampelt as deputy. He was Bouncefire's last apprentice before his death, so it was no doubt he would be an exceptional deputy. Many, many seasons passed with Tinystar leading her Clan, the rats only becoming a bigger problem each passing moon. So many cats were being killed in battle and from infection. One of these happened to be Creampelt, Tinystar's trusty deputy. His death left a hole in her heart- Creampelt had helped her lead the Clan for such a long time. She appointed Lynxsnow, a light brown dappled tom, as the new deputy. Soon after, SkyClan managed to defeat the rats for the second time by killing their leader. Again, the rats disbanded, leaving the Clan in peace for many seasons. Frecklewish got an apprentice named Sharppaw, a large white tom, who quickly received his full name as Sharpbramble. While out training her apprentice, Tinystar was hunting in the trees and fell, breaking her neck and killing her instantly. Lynxsnow became the new leader of SkyClan. (Tinystar's reign lasted a very long time.)
Leader: Lynxstar Deputy: Hornetfly Medicine Cats: Frecklewish, Sharpbramble
Lynxstar is currently the leader of SkyClan. His deputy is Hornetfly, a large dark brown tabby tom. Their medicine cat is still Frecklewish and her apprentice is Sharpbramble. Lynxstar, angry at his Clan due to having a rough apprenticeship, turned on his Clanmates. He was a brutal, strict, and cruel leader, often attacking any cat for no reason at all. An elder muttered something awful about him under his breath, and was cast out of the Clan along with anyone else who wanted to voice their opinions about their new leader to the public. After that, not a bad word was spoken about Lynxstar. Around this same time, Frecklewish decided to step down from her position due to old age. It was either that or she was terrified of Lynxstar because she had such a close relationship with the past two leaders, whom he despised greatly, but no one really knows which one is true. Sharpbramble took her place as the sole medicine cat of SkyClan. Although many cats thought Hornetfly was on Lynxstar's side at first, it soon showed that he wasn't. He kept this a secret from the leader, however- if he did find out, he knew he would be killed. Without telling any other cat about his plan, Hornetfly tracked his leader down one night and found him by a nearby river. Only thinking about the good of his Clan, Hornetfly pushed Lynxstar in the water and drowned him. When Lynxstar didn't return for days to come, the whole Clan suggested that Hornetfly go get his nine lives. A normal Clan probably would have waited longer for their true leader, but Lynxstar had hardly any supporters while the whole Clan loved Hornetfly. Though when he tried to get his nine lives, StarClan rejected giving him them because he murdered another cat, even though his best wishes were for the Clan. Hornetfly returned to SkyClan and claimed that he received his nine lives and name. (Lynxstar reigned for about 8 moons.)
Leader: Hornetstar Deputy: Rollingstone Medicine Cats: Sharpbramble
Hornetstar is currently the leader of SkyClan. His deputy is Rollingstone, a black tom. Their medicine cat is still Sharpbramble. Hornetstar, despite his mistakes as deputy and not having the approval of StarClan, leads the Clan well. SkyClan is unaware that Hornetstar is secretly the killer of their former leader, Lynxstar. Peace comes over the land, even though Hornetstar's leadership isn't blessed. Though a couple seasons later, the rats start causing trouble for SkyClan again. This time it proves to be much worse than the times when they were attacking under Leafstar's and Tinystar's rule. Due to Hornetstar not receiving his nine lives, he is quickly killed off by the rats. The whole Clan was deeply worried because they thought he lost all nine lives to the rats during just one battle. Sharpbramble's mate and kits, who were about to become warriors, are also killed in battle. The once kind, cheerful medicine cat suddenly turned cold-hearted, strict, and mean. Rollingstone, left with a diminishing Clan, took Hornetstar's place after his death. (Hornetstar reigned for about 12 moons.)
Rollingstar is currently the leader of SkyClan. His deputy is Rowantail, a brown-and-white tabby tom. Their medicine cat is still Sharpbramble. Under Rollingstar's rule, peace came to the Clan. The problem with the rats subsided, but a couple battles still broke out occasionally, which killed a minimal amount cats. Rollingstar was quite popular with the Clan- many claimed that he was a good as Tinystar, who had been the best SkyClan leader despite having some problems with the rats. After Lynxstar and Hornetstar, who ruled the Clan for such a short amount of time, Rollingstar seemed like a blessing. Many seasons passed with these three cats ruling SkyClan, until Rowantail was killed suddenly by a group of rogues passing through the territory. Rollingstar appointed Doveflower, a small tortoiseshell she-cat, to take his place as deputy. Around this same time, the rats starting causing trouble again, and this time it proved to be much worse than before. Not only did they wipe out most of the warriors, but they also stole territory. If a cat so much as stepped one paw into the land that used to be theirs, they would be ripped to shreds. Rollingstar, to try to stop more cats from being killed, ordered that no cat go into the rats' territory. Moons of living like this passed- many cats suggested that they should leave, but Rollingstar, unable to abandon his home, quieted them down quickly. Sharpbramble, around this same time, received the reluctant apprentice of Raggedpaw, a blind black-and-white she-cat. A couple moons later, Rollingstar sent most of his warriors into battle against the rats. Only one warrior came back alive- and one of the ones slain was Doveflower. With hardly any experienced warriors left, Rollingstar appointed Bengalstorm, a young spotted brown tom, to take her place as deputy. Soon later, Rollingstar realized that the medicine cat apprentice, Raggedpaw, could hunt and fight despite being unable to see. She would rather be a warrior than a medicine cat, so after she stepped down, her sister Hawkwing, a white she-cat with blue points, who was already a warrior, took her place. Hawkwing wasn't Sharpbramble's apprentice for very long, however. Once she was a fully trained medicine cat, Sharpbramble stepped down, giving the position to the much younger cat and becoming an elder. Bengalstorm, tired of living in fear so close to the rats and wanting what was best for the Clan, challenged Rollingstar to leave. By this time, most of the cats agreed that it was time to go before they were all killed. Rollingstar, knowing that Bengalstorm had the upper hand, stepped down from his position. (Rollingstar reigned for about 50 moons.)
Leader: Bengalstar Deputies: Sorrelflower, - Medicine Cat: Hawkwing
Bengalstar is currently the leader of SkyClan. His deputy is Sorrelflower, a calico she-cat. Their medicine cat is still Hawkwing. With Bengalstar, Bengalstorm at the time due to not receiving his nine lives before the perilous journey, and Sorrelflower at their head, the Clan trekked across fields, Twolegplaces, moorlands, forests, and mountains to reach the land of the four Clans. At the edge of their territory, they await directions for what to do and where to go next. (Bengalstar has reigned for about 2 moons.)
