SkyClan is returning to the lake territories, their paws traveling over the frozen leaf-bare ground. When they reach the Clans, what will they do? Will they even give them territory? What will they say? Their eyes are set on a pine forest just outside of ShadowClan territory, but not every cat is accepting of their return. ShadowClan dislikes this idea the most, and tries to urge the other three Clans that SkyClan doesn't belong in the same territory as them. ThunderClan follows the idea ShadowClan has, though are more hesitant to drive them away. RiverClan wants to help the Clan, which is tired and weak from traveling such a long way only to arrive with threats of war hanging in the air. WindClan decides to stay neutral and hopes their decision will make the fighting stop. Though with ShadowClan and ThunderClan believing that only four Clans belong in the lake territories, and RiverClan helping SkyClan fight, things are escalating too quickly.
RiverClan and SkyClan are losing in the many battles against ShadowClan and ThunderClan. When both SkyClan and RiverClan are nearly wiped clean, WindClan steps in and decide to help them. With WindClan at their sides, ShadowClan and ThunderClan are now outnumbered. After a few more battles, they're both now feeling the effects of war, as SkyClan and RiverClan already had been. Cats are dying left and right with each new battle. Finally, there comes a time when all five Clans send out all of their fighters in a final battle. ThunderClan, just before it starts, steps out of the battle. ShadowClan fights as hard as they can against RiverClan, SkyClan, and WindClan, but they're horribly outnumbered. ShadowClan surrenders, and SkyClan becomes the fifth Clan again.
But there is still trouble brewing. SkyClan is unsure where to place their boundaries, and ask the other Clans for help. RiverClan and WindClan (maybe ThunderClan, Lionstar? Unsure what he would do, but let me know!) want to give SkyClan and equal amount of territory, similar to the amount they have. Though ShadowClan (and ThunderClan?) want to give them a small strip of forest hardly enough to feed a couple of rogues. In the end, they decide to give SkyClan a smaller territory, but it isn't much smaller than their own.
Things that could happen (let us know if you have any ideas!): all of the Clan leaders losing at least one life throughout all of the battles (Lionstar kills Coyotestar, and after she loses a life, that when WindClan steps in because it's also when they realize they're losing the war). (there were a few other really cool things that could happen but I forgot them oops)
Though before we start the plot, we would need all of the high positions to be filled (not including the medicine cat apprentices, as they aren't as important for the plot to begin). This is including the leaders, deputies, and medicine cats in all Clans. We have specific personalities that go with the plot that we'd like to see the last two leaders (ShadowClan's and SkyClan's) have, but not so much in the deputies and medicine cats as the leaders have the final say in everything the Clan does. Of course, a cat doesn't have to fit everything on the list of attributes below, but this is what we think they should have.
ShadowClan Leader: Would have to be an older cat (around 50+ moons) because they'd be so dedicated to the warrior code and following the orders of StarClan. They believe that there should only be four Clans in the lake territories, because that is the way it has always been. Selfish, uncaring, and cold may describe this cat. They want only what is best for ShadowClan, and they believe that they'd be doing the other Clans a favor by not allowing SkyClan to come live around the lake territory. They act on what they believe in and never back down from a fight. The only way that they'd lose if if they lost their last life in battle or had to surrender due to being so badly outnumbered in the final battle.
SkyClan Leader: They don't have to be a specific age (probably would be an older, wiser cat- not necessarily as old as the ShadowClan leader, however). They're kind and forgiving, acting like nothing happened after the final battle and treat ShadowClan and ThunderClan just like they do with WindClan and RiverClan. Selfless may also describe this cat. They want what is best for their Clan, but only exist in the lake territories due to the other Clan's generosity, and they know this. Even if they only got a small strip of pine forest outside of ShadowClan territory, they would accept it without complaining. They dislike fighting and only wish to have peace over all of the Clans.
So this is the official plot thread, which is constantly being updates and new ideas and suggests arise. Let us know what you think!
